Getting visible is a really big part of being seen online. Which makes sense because you’re pretty much invisible if you aren’t visible. Right?
It all comes down to showing up consistently and serving your tribe. So let’s dive into 3 ways to increase your visibility as a health + wellness pro.
And make sure you stick around until the end because I’ve got a little something extra for you that will help you book out your schedule.
Being a guest can take so many forms. You could be a Guest blogger, vlogger, do virtual summits, do collaborations with other business owners, or be on another person’s podcast. Or, better yet, do all of those things!
Start reaching out to other business owners and build some relationships on social. Then send them an email or a DM once you’ve gotten to know them a little bit and chat about collaboration opportunities.
One thing to keep in mind when you’re proposing collabs is that you’ll want it to be beneficial for both parties involved. So for example, if you both have similar audiences you could do a guest blog post on each other’s blogs for extra visibility. Or, if they have a podcast and you have a Facebook group filled with fans, you could work out a collaboration where you both show up on each other’s platforms.
What I mean here is to become an expert in your field. The best way to do this is to get really specific on who your ideal client is so you can always talk to them, and only them. Share information that you know your ideal client would love and that you know A LOT about.
Try not to get off topic and be really targeted with all of your posts, videos, and podcast episodes. Reinforcing what you know, everywhere, will help to establish you as an expert instead of a jack of all trades. People want to work with experts who really know their stuff.
The reality is that we can’t be everyone at once. And, it’s exhausting if you try to be!
Being on every single social media platform, creating content constantly, sending out emails and just doing #allthethings can get overwhelming, fast. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
You don’t need to show up everywhere. You just need to consistently show up in a few places.
Trust me, you’ll make better connections when you’re really enjoying what you’re putting out there for the world to see. Plus, when people see or hear from you regularly they start to know, like, and trust you.
So you can be consistent anywhere really. But I do urge you to step out of your comfort zone a little bit. We all tend to grow so much more when we push through a little bit of uncomfortability.
So, where do you want to show up consistently? It can be Facebook or Instagram lives, a podcast, youtube videos, blog posts, email, twitter, or whatever you’re into really. Just start with one place that you can commit to showing up and being your true self. Then expand from there.
Or don’t. It’s your choice.
