I generally book out a few months in advance. I want to give you plenty of time to work on perfecting your website copy and your project homework before our start date. For this reason, I usually book projects a minimum of 3 weeks in advance.
What do I need to have before we get started? ExpandAfter you book a spot on my calendar, I’ll send you some homework to start on. This includes the Website Questionnaire, Copy that Converts Workbook, and scheduling of your Creative Strategy Session.
Website copy and any photos you’d like to include are due before the design process begins. I recommend having a rough draft of your copy in place before we start on the project. That way I can review it and help you refine it before your website goes live!
Do you offer branding, social media design, print design, etc? ExpandYes! I have experience in all formats of design and would love to be a design partner for your business. If you have other graphic design needs simply check them off in the “add-on” section when you’re filling out a project inquiry form.
I’m just starting my business, is this a good fit for me? ExpandYes, as long as you know what you’re selling, have a good understanding of who your ideal client is, and are ready to invest in a custom website. If you’re still refining these foundations then it might be better to wait because your offering may change.
What platform do you use to build websites? ExpandI’m flexible! My favorite content management system is WordPress because it’s completely customizable, easy to maintain, and with all of the plugin options available the sky is really the limit on design possibilities.
That being said, I also design on Squarespace, Shopify (great for eCommerce!), and ShowIt.
How long does the design process take? How will be collaborate? ExpandSince each project is a little different the timeline can vary. In general, though, it takes about 8 weeks to go from strategy to launch day.
Once the project begins we will collaborate inside of a project management tool called Asana. This allows us to stay organized and remain on-track for launch day. We will also meet face to face on a couple of Zoom calls throughout the process.
Can I hire a copywriter to help with website copy? ExpandYes, you may. As long as they are willing to collaborate with me then I’d be happy to work with them. Please chat with them about the timeline to make sure that your website copy will be ready to go before my design process begins.

Will I be able to edit my webiste easily? ExpandYes, I ensure that your website is very user-friendly and easy to edit. You’ll be able to swap out images, edit text, and even set-up new pages with ease. After your website launches, we’ll jump on a Zoom call where I’ll show you how to maintain your website.
